An article written to the Irish Post by a reader requesting the publish of Sean O’Casey by William O’Donnell ‘I enclose a poem on Sean O’Casey which was requested in your column. It is, of course, by Bill O’Donnell, known in London literary circles as “The Bard Of The Blackwater.” I have read many of Mr. Wm O’Donnell’s poems and articles in Irish and English journals. His work is very distinctive and all that I have read are purely of Irish topics. He has written many poems on the beauties of his native river, the Munster Blackwater. He appears to be a great student of O’Casey.’
