Robert F. Kennedy

Then why Shiran did you gun down this man
Who has not done you wrong?
Why still with a sharp vicious bang.
A heart pulsating proud and strong.
Why end a vision that had in its ken,
A braver world and a better creed,
And hoped to see all kinds of men,
A better breed.

Has not this family had its fill
Of senseless violent acts
Has not cruel fate pursued to sill
And written tragic facts,
Why not give him his chance,
Why! Why! His talents blot,
And bring on death’s unending trance
With a pistol shot.

It’s now too late, the world must wend its way
Through corridors of night,
Two Kennedys have left the fray
But still goes on the fight
And still have honoured name
Will be there in the van
When you have finished with your deadly game.
Shiran Shiran.
